For purchase is an exquisite, extremely rare and hard to find authentic Chanel Black soft calfskin large lady braid tote.
The Lady Braid line is one of the most sought after lines in Chanel - as the name depicts, the "chain" straps are braided along with a thick rolled lambskin piece to form a shoulder strap - finished at the ends with an ornate dark silver (ruthenium) "CC" cap.
The leather on this tote is simply divine and nearly impossible to find in other Chanel models - thick, wide grained calfskin that has a soft hand. And at 19 inches wide, it will carry almost anything!
The distressed, thick textured black calfskin is extremely "chewy" and exquisitely well-textured.
This item is in excellent condition with very few signs of use. The CC zipper pull shows some sign of use; otherwise, braided chain is in great condition. Corners are clean with no signs of rubbing or scuffing. Handles/straps are still well-formed. Interior is clean, but for a few minor makeup marks. Please see photos for details.
